- Be 19 years of age or older
- Be female (men can participate in the form of referee,
coach or volunteer) - Have the proper gear (listed on right)
- Be able to commit 1-2 nights a week of practice

The most major requirements for derby is that you have all the correct gear to protect yourself from nasty spills!

- Roller skates (sorry, no roller blades in derby!)
- Helmet
- Knee pads
- Elbow pads
- Wrist guards
- Mouth guard
- FISHNETS!
